Photo of the Week

Autumn Walk

SONY DSCDo you remember rolling around in a pile of fallen autumn leaves as a kid? Or throwing them above your head, then watch the leaves fall gently covering you in a chaos of colours? I was born in autumn and some of the best pictures I ever took were taken around this time of the year. For some, autumn is a reminder of inevitable decay. To me, it’s my favourite season, beautiful in its passing glory. I love everything about it. The morning dew, the cooling air, carrying the fragrance of ripe fruit, mushrooms, wet undergrowth and the promise of a new beginning after a long slumber.

This post is in response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: Chaos.
