Abstract is intangible and personal. It doesn’t attempt to represent reality, but is the mere projection of an idea, an effect; distorted and subjective, rather a reflection of our own self than anything else. Some will only see a bunch of white balloons in the temporarily transformed Covent Garden, others a cloud, a mould formation or even an embodiment of childhood innocence, because “we don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are.”
This post is in response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: Abstract.
